black leaders who have achieved success in careers as diverse as banking and law enforcement and a
white minister who played a leading role in soothing race relations in the wake of Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr.'s 1968 assassination were recognized for their achievements during Friendship Baptist
Church's Saturday evening celebration of Dr. King's life.
Drinking Water Distribution On Wednesday October 29th, the Greene County Emergency
Management Agency began distributing free drinking water to county residents whose water wells have
