"Tea Party" Tax Day Protest

Several hundred people -- many of them carrying signs showing their opposition to various actions of the federal government, especially deficit spending -- gathered today at the Greene County Courthouse for a noon "tea party."The nonpartisan event, like hundreds of others nationwide, is being held on "tax day," April 15, the annual deadline for filing federal and state income taxes.
