More than 200 children under age 13 and their parents took
part in the Greeneville Parks & Recreation Department's annual Spring Fling on Saturday at the
EastView Recreation Center.
About 1,100 people turned out for the first "Spring
Fever Car and Tractor Show" on Saturday and Sunday at the former Circuit Systems Building on
Industrial Road.
With critical
assistance from a Sunnydale Road resident and his farm tractor, employees of the Southern Alliance
for Clean Energy on Saturday installed a 125-foot-tall wind-measuring tower on the football field at
