residents of this community gathered Tuesday evening at First Presbyterian Church for a public forum
on the future of downtown Greeneville.
The two-hour "Downtown Dialogue,"
hosted by Main Street: Greeneville, included discussion of such topics as parking, entertainment,
education, restaurants and other businesses.
Drinking Water Distribution On Wednesday October 29th, the Greene County Emergency
Management Agency began distributing free drinking water to county residents whose water wells have
either gone dry or become too muddy. Distribution will take place on future Wednesdays. ...(more)
