Boy Scouts Retire Flags

One of the high points of the anniversary weekend event, which began at 6 p.m. Friday and continued until 5 p.m. Sunday, was a flag retirement ceremony that took place at 2 p.m. Saturday, according to Jim Snyder, activity director for the Boy Scouts' Nolachuckey District.
