Greene Countians who have lost their jobs due to the nationwide economic downturn had an opportunity Tuesday to gain valuable job-search information during a day-long "Job Ready Expo" at Hal Henard Elementary School.

Local, state and federal authorities for 12 hours on Thursday conducted Operation STOP, an anti-terrorism and safety enforcement effort at the Greene County Weigh Station on Interstate 81 in western Greene County.
