Despite splitting a Watauga Valley Conference doubleheader, the mood at North Greene remained celebratory throughout the night.
After the Lady Huskies earned a conference win, the school honored long-time coach and teacher Jerome Woolsey by naming the gymnasium after him.
Following the ceremony, the Cloudland Highlanders damped the mood slightly by defeating the Huskies 44-35 in the nightcap.
The 54-44 victory for the Lady Huskies improves their overall record to 14-10 and their league record to 7-0.
