Burns said in an announcement, "I look forward to the opportunity of working at Greeneville Federal Bank.

He added that Greeneville Federal is "a strong bank and has been an important part of this community for almost 50 years.

"I've always been impressed with the way Greeneville Federal gives back to our community, and I'm pleased to be a part of it."
