The North Greene Huskies picked up another pair of Hall of Fame victories Friday night, downing visiting Hancock County in both ends of a doubleheader.
The Lady Huskies (2-0) rolled out to a big 22-7 first quarter lead and they were off to the races as they romped to a 72-36 victory.
Mariah Britton gunned in 25 points to lead the Huskies, while Shyler Miller pitched in a dozen points and Haley Vaughan scored nine. McDaniel scored 12 for Hancock.
The North Greene boys also improved to 2-0 with a 63-45 win, pulling away in the fourth quarter. The Huskies were up by a 27-20 margin at intermission and 41-30 after three periods.
Dylan Payne and Drew Lady combined for 41 points, with Payne scoring 21 and Lady 20. Cody Britton chipped in with nine. Hunter Carpenter had 25 points for the Indians.
North Greene also won in junior varsity play. The Lady Huskies took a 61-33 win as Breanna Morrow scored 19 and Corinne Guelli added 15. The boys game went to the Huskies 53-46 as Garrett Harbin scored 13.
