C-D Bowlers Capture Victories

In bowling action on Monday the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights boys and girls bowling teams took two wins in a match against Cherokee High School.

The boys won with an overall pin count of 2642 to 2600. They were led by Tyler Bright with three wins. Seth Crofts, Javier Barnes and Pipe had two wins each. Eric Roberts had one win.

The girls won with an overall pin count of 2259 to 2039. They were led by Lachista Dishner with three wins. Brianna Russell and Megan Crofts had two wins. Courtney Tweed had two wins and one tie. Renee Norton and Samara James had one win each.

The Black Knights will be off until Monday when they face Greeneville at Olympia Lanes at 3:30.
