A resident of Apple Street was slightly injured about 8:10 a.m. on Sunday in a single-vehicle wreck on Snapps Ferry Road.
Holly Hubbard, 31, of the East Andrew Johnson Highway, Chuckey, lost control of the 2006 Mitsubishi sedan she was during wet road conditions, according to a report by Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Morgan.
The car slid off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and came to rest in a field, the report said.
Injured in the collision was Hubbard's passenger Helen S. Hubbard, 60, of Apple Street, Greeneville.
She was taken by a Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services ambulance to Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
