Gary Ball
and Jimmy Schofield, owners of Greeneville Honda, at 808 Tusculum Blvd., have purchased what
previously was Rocky Top Motor Sports at 190 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy.
The
dealership has been renamed Greeneville Powersports.
Ball and Schofield
said they have "combined ownership to offer better service, more options and the same high-quality
customer service."
Greeneville Powersports sells Yamaha, Suzuki and Kymco
models.
Ball and Schofield said both motorcycle sales locations "will
continue to offer a parts and service department along with a full line of riding gear and
accessories."
Both locations have their own finance departments with
on-the-spot financing available, and offer layaway payment options for ATVs, motorcycles and
apparel.
The two local motorcycle dealerships together have about 15
employees.
Rocky Top Motor Sports was previously owned by Mike Roberts
of Greeneville.
