Work is progressing on the new Baileyton United Methodist Church. Employees of Southeastern Plumbing are shown finishing the plumbing. Concrete was to be poured this week, and framing is scheduled to start the week of July 7. The gravel area in the foreground will be the new church entrance. The workers are shown in an area that will feature two levels of classrooms and a fellowship hall. Completion of the new church building is expected by late December. The former church building was destroyed by fire in November 2007.
