Telford Man, 37, Dies While Attempting To Repair Bus

James Robert Couch, 37, of 133 Lovegrove Lane,
Telford, died Friday from injuries received while doing repair work on a bus in Gray.
According to published reports, Couch was attempting to change the tire on a bus
at Fellowship Tours just off Interstate 26 at the Eastern Star exit.
Couch was a native of Rutherfordton, N.C., and had been a resident of
Washington County for several years. He was a son of James W. and Janice Crawford Couch of
Rutherfordton.
Couch was employed by Blevins Tire Co. of Bristol,
Va.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. tonight at East Chapel of Appalachian
Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City.
The family will
receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 5 p.m. until service time and other times at
the home of his mother-in-law, Barbara Crain, 131 Lovegrove Lane,
Telford.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the McCarty
Cemetery.

Avenue, Johnson City is serving the Couch family.
