Investigators with the Johnson City Police Department on Thursday charged Lynda Wooley, 45, of 1108 W. Summer St., Apt B-10, Greeneville, with charges of theft over $1,000.
"The arrest came as the result of an investigation into several thousand dollars worth of voided sales at a Johnson City Roadrunner Store where Wooley was employed," a JCPD news release said.
Wooley was arrested and transported to Washington County Detention Center where she is currently being held under $10,000 bond, according to the news release.
She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court for arraignment on Monday.
