Local law enforcement officers made two DUI arrests on Monday.
In one incident a Mt. Hebron Road woman was charged by Deputy Sheriff Brandon Baskette with DUI (3rd offense) and driving on a revoked or suspended license.
An arrest warrant filed by Deputy Baskette indicated that he charged Lisa Marie White, 47, of 1050 Mt. Hebron Road after finding her attempting to back a Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle from a ditch near the intersection of Mt. Hebron Road and Jones Bridge Road.
Bond for White was set at $4,000 and she was scheduled to appear on Wednesday in General Sessions Court.
In a second Monday incident, Tusculum Police Chief Danny Greene charged Carlos D. Serrano Martinez, no address listed, with DUI after Chief Greene responded to a report of erratic driving on the East Andrew Johnson Highway.
An arrest warrant said Martinez was found behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped in the roadway.
Martinez, according to the warrant, appeared to be unsteady on his feet after he exited the vehicle, smelled of alcohol and performed poorly on a field-sobriety test.
Bond for Martinez was set at $1,000 and he was scheduled to appear on Wednesday in General Sessions Court.
