Aggravated Domestic Assault Charged -- Alicia Sue Brockwell, 41, of 4825 East Andrew Johnson Highway, was charged June 1 by Tusculum Police Officer Dustin Jeffers with aggravated domestic assault in connection with a May 31 incident in which she allegedly struck her husband, Cecil Brockwell, with a mop.
The arrest warrant said Cecil Brockwell suffered injuries to an elbow and his head and sought treatment at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Brockwell was ordered held without bond pending a June 3 appearance in General Sessions Court.
Theft Under $500 Charged -- Rinda Lynn McClellan, 25, of 680 Stills Road, was charged June 1 with theft under $500 by GPD Detective Lt. Ray Allen, Jr. in connection with the alleged theft of $300 in cash from the Okee-Dokee Market No. 17 at 1417 Tusculum Boulevard.
The arrest warrant alleged that she printed out a receipt to make it appear the cash had been paid out as lottery winnings.
Bond for McClellan was set at $500. She was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 3.
Fishing Tackle Stolen -- A Midway resident told Deputy Sheriff Kevin Guinn on June 1 that overnight someone had stolen a quantity of fishing tackle from his locked pickup truck.
Missing, according to the report, were five fishing rods and reels, a tackle box and assorted fishing lures valued at about $1,300.
In addition, damage to a door of the pickup was estimated at another $500.
