Our Calendar Girl For May

Sun Photo by Jim Feltman
Lindsay Harbin, who attends North Greene High School, is The Greeneville Sun's Calendar Girl for May 2009. The daughter of Mark and Lisa Harbin, Lindsay was sponsored in the Calendar Girl series by Baileyton RV Park. Days of special interest in May include Mother's Day on the 10th, Ascenssion Day on the 21st, and Memorial Day on the 25th. The weather forecast for the month calls for about-normal temperatures with about-normal precipitation. Hawthorn is the flower of the month, while the emerald is May's birthstone. The first-quarter moon appears May 1; full moon on May 8; last-quarter moon on May 17; and the new moon on May 24.
