The Northeast Tennessee Valley Regional Industrial Development Association, in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and local power distributors, has announced the launching of an enhanced version of the economic development Web site, TVAsites.com.
TVAsites.com is a comprehensive land and buildings database that provides site selection consultants, commercial real estate brokers and corporate executives seeking to relocate or expand with readily accessible data.
It is an award-winning Internet resource that lists about 1,900 properties and industrial buildings in the 80,000-square-mile Tennessee Valley region.
Communities in Northeast Tennessee continually prepare for new and expanding businesses by providing a broad selection of industrial sites and buildings.
The Northeast Tennessee Valley Regional Industrial Development Association (NTVRIDA) enters data and maintains it in conjunction with TVA.
A press release said, "TVAsites.com's state-of-the-art geographic applications allow companies and site selectors to customize searches by properties and communities and to easily generate detailed community reports and maps utilizing the latest Google technology to offer a bird's eye view from your desk chair.
"Website users can search for information at a broad level and then drill down into detailed community-data analysis within the following categories: Find Properties, Find Communities, Community Reports and Research Library."
Alicia Summers, executive director of NTVRIDA, said, "Business success is often influenced by the ability to make faster decisions based on accurate, in-depth information. We are excited about offering this advanced technology tool with its robust search features, demographics and business reports to market our region's communities."
Randy Harrell, president of the Greene County Partnership, added, "The more tools we have in our recruitment package the more successful we will be towards marketing our counties."
The Northeast Tennessee Valley Regional Industrial Development Association, consisting of 15 counties located in Northeast Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina, is supported by the power distributors in the region and promotes economic development growth.
