Chuckey Man, 10 Others Charged With Patronizing Prostitutes

The Johnson City
Police Department announced on Wednesday that it had charged a Chuckey man and 10 others after an
investigation into prostitution and related crimes.
"The investigation
concluded with the arrest of 11 subjects engaging in prostitution and those illegally using the
services of prostitutes," a JCPD news release said.
The only Greene
County resident named in the JCPD news release was Mark Wilds, 46, of 6045 Erwin Highway, Chuckey.
He was charged with patronizing prostitution, according to a police press
release.
Other male suspects charged with patronizing prostitution were
from Bluff City, Elizabethton, Flag Pond, Johnson City, Jonesborough and Piney Flats, according to
the news release.
Donna Westerveld, 53, 231 W. Main St., Johnson City,
was charged with prostitution.
All those charged are scheduled to appear
in Washington County General Sessions Court, according to the
release.
"This investigation focused on areas of reported activity and
additional related arrests are expected," the release said.
