One person was slightly injured in a two-vehicle, rear-end collision about 2:25 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of North Main Street and East Andrew Johnson Highway.
A report filed by GPD Officer Jackie Tweed said Jennifer Lee Rosier, 27, of Lost Mountain Pike, had slowed, or stopped, the 2008 Kia Rio she was driving near a yield sign at the intersection and was hit from behind by a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Barbara Gregg, 49, of Gap Creek Road, Bulls Gap.
Rosier suffered what were believed to be minor injuries, but did not require transportation to a hospital. Rosier's passenger Seth Rosier, 2, and Gregg escaped injury, according to the report.
