Two people were charged with multiple offenses by
Greeneville police following a Thursday night incident in which one of them allegedly assaulted two
Wal-Mart employees with a Christmas tree.
Arrest warrants filed by GPD
Officer Jackie Tweed charged Bruce Kevin McEachern II, 25, of 70 Rheatown Cemetery Road, with two
counts of assault, theft under $500 and public intoxication.
Other
warrants said Tweed charged Tracy Ann Ulissi, 25, of 8690 McDonald Road, with public intoxication
and two counts of assault.
Arrest warrants alleged that Wal-Mart loss
prevention personnel saw McEachern leave the East Andrew Johnson Highway store with a Christmas
ornament, for which he had not paid.
When loss-prevention personnel
attempted to stop McEachern outside the store, he became combative and, at one point, assaulted two
Wal-Mart employees with a Christmas tree before being taken into
custody.
Ulissi, according to arrest warrants, hit Wal-Mart employees
while they were attempting to take McEachern into custody.
Both McEachern
and Ulissi were scheduled to appear today in General Sessions Court.
