The Greeneville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will appoint a First-Ward alderman to fill the unexpired term of recently elected Mayor Laraine King when it meets Tuesday, July 15.

The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the board room at Town Hall.

Also on the agenda is the administering of the Oath of Office to the newly appointed alderman.

Other agenda items include comments from Mayor King and consideration of two resolutions for "safety partner" grants.

The two grants are for the Greeneville Public Works Department and the Greeneville-Greene County Landfill/Transfer Station.
