Greeneville police were called to the Greeneville Skate Park at Hardin Park on Monday night after a 15-year-old boy was struck in the head with a skateboard by a 15-year-old girl.
A report filed by GPD Officer Jackie Tweed about 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 7, said the injured boy told police he was struck in the back of the head with a skateboard during an argument.
The police report said the girl who allegedly struck the boy told police that she thought she and the boy were "just playing around."
The boy, according to the police report, was checked at the scene by Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel and taken home by his mother.
No charges were filed.
