Tuesday, July 8, is the last day to register to vote in the Aug. 7 election.
Voters can register from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Greene County Election Commission Office on North Main Street.
To register, voters must present their driver license or another valid form of identification, according to Jo Roberts, Greene County administrator of elections.
The Aug. 7 election is a county general election and state and federal primary election.
On the ballot will be candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress and state House of Representatives, Roberts said.
Also on the ballot will be the office of Greene County Assessor of Property, several Greene County Road Commissioners and two Greene County Constable positions.
The ballot also will include candidates for two seats on the Greene County Board of Education and the Town of Baileyton races.
Early voting for the Aug. 3 election will begin Friday, July 18, and continue through Saturday, Aug. 2, Roberts said.
Early voting also takes place at the Greene County Election Commission Office.
