The North Greene Lady Huskies’ softball team left the school Monday for the bus ride to Murfreesboro, where they will compete in the TSSAA State Softball Tournament today. The Huskies earned the trip on Friday when they defeated Coalfield 1-0 in the Class A Sectional playoffs. North Greene’s first action in the double elimination tournament is today at 6 p.m. (Greeneville time) against Cornersville. Team members are, from left, front row: Bobbie Cobb and Rochelle Seaton.
