Friday, May 23, is the last day of the 2007-08 school year for both the Greeneville and Greene County school systems. It is an abbreviated day for students to pick up their grade reports.

In the city, bus routes will begin at 8 a.m. with Greeneville Middle School students. Those students will be taken to school and returned home before elementary pick-up begins at approximately 9 a.m.

City elementary students also will be returned home immediately after receiving their grade cards. Greeneville High School grade reports will be mailed, and no buses will run to the high school.

If city students do not ride the bus, parents may bring their children to school from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. to get their grade cards.

The last full day of school for both school systems will be Wednesday, May 21.

Thursday, May 22, is an administrative day for teachers. There will be no classes for students.
