The Greene County Beer Board took less than 60 seconds Wednesday to approve an on-premises beer permit for Nolichuckey View Golf Course.
Before the vote, board chairman Bill Brown said of background checks for the seven owners of the golf course, formerly the River Trace Golf Course, that "everything has checked out."
River Trace Golf Course had sold beer on-premises before it was auctioned off earlier this year, so the selling of beer by the new owners at the golf course "was grandfathered in," Brown said.
