Tusculum College will dedicate and name its renovated and expanded library this Friday, May 16.
The college on Friday will host a meeting of its board of trustees, honor major donors to the college in a formal dinner and present its annual Distinguished Service Award.
The public is invited to attend the 3:30 p.m. library dedication program, which will take place in and around the library at Tusculum College on the main campus.
Participating in the ceremony will be Dr. Russell Nichols, the college's interim president; Dr. Kenneth Bowman, chairman of the college's board of trustees, and Scott Niswonger, the college's principal benefactor.
The event will conclude with the official naming of the library, which so far has been called simply the Library at Tusculum College.

Preceding the library dedication, and continuing on Saturday, will be the annual spring meeting of the college's board of trustees.
On Friday evening at the General Morgan Inn in downtown Greeneville, the college's annual President's Dinner will be held, an invitation-only event that honors the college's major donors.
