A local man was charged on Tuesday by Greeneville police with theft over $1,000 in connection with the theft of a $5,000 motorcycle from a Bayberry Street residence.
An arrest warrant filed by GPD Detective Lt. Ray Allen, Jr., charged Lenny Gene Hensley, 24, of 7976 Snapps Ferry Road, with theft over $1,000.
The warrant alleged that the stolen Honda motorcycle was recovered by police from a storage building at Hensley's residence.
Bond for Hensley was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 14.
