The 19th annual "Taste of Greeneville," formerly known as the "International Tasting," will start at 6 p.m. this evening in the General Morgan Inn.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of the Greeneville Woman's Club and Main Street: Greeneville.
Seventeen local restaurants or vendors will provide participants with samples of food, drinks or desserts.
This year's restaurants/vendors include: Applebee's Neighborhood Grill, Brumley's, Café MoJoe (new), Cancun Mexican Restaurant, Coca Cola, Chuck Wagon Bar B Que, Ella's (new), Fatz Café, Francesca's (new), Italian Village/Mill Wheel, Mountain View Bulk Foods, Pal's (new), Peggy Ann Bakery, Premium Waters, Taco Bell, TCBY, and Rocky's Pizza.
Tickets for the Taste of Greeneville can be purchased in advance at the General Morgan Inn's front desk. Ticket prices are $8 and are limited to 350 attendees. Tickets can be purchased at the event until they are sold-out.
