Mosheim Planning Commission members got their first look at a new zoning map for the municipality when they met Thursday, May 8.

The new base map with zoning has several changes to it that reflect annexations and rezonings undertaken since the last map was made in December 2006.

Albert Teilhet, who is Mosheim's state-contract planner, unrolled the new base map with zoning and placed it in the middle of the conference table where commissioners sat so that they could examine it.

At the end of the short meeting, the new map was placed on a wall in Mayor Billy Myers' office after the old map was removed from the same location.
