MORRISTOWN -- Greeneville fell 3-1 to Morristown West on Friday in the District 2-AAA soccer championship match.
In a battle of the top two seeds from the regular season, IMAC champion Morristown West scored twice in the opening 40 mintues to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
Greeneville senior Chad Castainca scored on a direct kick from 24 yards out to cut the Trojans' lead in half, but the tournament hosts added a third goal to seal the district title.
The Devils will travel to play the District 1 champion Sullivan South Rebels on Tuesday in the region semifinals while West will host the second place finisher Science Hill.
The Rebels beat the Hilltoppers 2-0 on Friday night in their district title matchup.
