At Local Center
Several local students were recognized April 23 at the annual Honors Day ceremonies at Walters State Community College.
Lara Traylor of Greeneville was named the outstanding student at the WSCC Greeneville Center.
Also nominated for this award were Joey Cooter of Chuckey and Randy Hefner of Parrottsville.
Subject-Area Winners
Academic awards for excellence in various subject areas were presented to several local students:
* Christopher Gass of Greeneville, mathematics;
* Bailey Morgan of Chuckey, mass communications;
* Michael Reed of Greeneville, paramedic;
* Randell Hefner of Parrottsville, respiratory care; and
* Patricia Hopkins of Greeneville, health information technology.
