A Baileyton man is facing multiple charges in connection with a Sunday afternoon disturbance in Greeneville and an unrelated pursuit Friday by Baileyton police.
An arrest warrant filed by GPD Officer Kenni Carter said that Robert Dewayne Graham, 38, of 1141 Bailey Street, Baileyton, was charged with public intoxication after a disturbance at a Greeneville residence on Sunday.
Other warrants filed by Baileyton Police Officer John Jones charged Graham with speeding, fleeing arrest by motor vehicle, child endangerment and reckless endangerment in connection with a pursuit on May 2 of a vehicle driven by Graham along Van Hill Road in Baileyton.
Arrest warrants said the pursuit began when Officer Jones attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Graham for speeding on Van Hill Road in Baileyton.
One warrant alleged that Graham drove a vehicle -- that also was occupied by a 10-year-old boy -- at a high rate of speed along Van Hill Road through an area fronted by several convenience stores.
Bond for Graham was set at $24,237. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
