Collision Injures Two People

A two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon on Pike Road in northern Greene County injured two people.

According to a report filed by Deputy Sheriff MichaelJones, the collision occurred in a curve on Pike Road about a tenth of a mile north of Ottway Road about 2:35 p.m. Saturday, when a southbound 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Randall Quinn, 35, of Pike Road, crossed the center line of the road and collided with a northbound sport-utility vehicle.

The report said that the SUV was a 2006 Mazda Tribute driven by Allison Klepper, 27, also of Pike Road.

According to the report, Allison Klepper escaped injury, but her passenger, Brenda Klepper, and Quinn were injured.

Brenda Klepper was taken to Takoma Regional Hospital, while Quinn was taken to Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
