Greeneville High School's boys tennis team polished off an unbeaten conference season Tuesday when they defeated Morristown West 7-2 in matches at the Greene County Tennis Center.
The Greene Devils have lost only once during the campaign, at Dobyns-Bennett. They lost at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to the Trojans, but won the rest of the matches, including shutouts in singles by Matthew Smith and John Wesley Patterson.
Morristown West won in girls by a 7-2 score. Devan McIntyre got a point for the Lady Devils at No. 5 singles in a tie-breaker (9-8, 7-3). The No. 3 doubles duo of Abby Woods and Chelsea Wilhoit collected the other point for GHS.
The district tournament will begin Monday in Morristown.
