A single-vehicle wreck Monday night on Sinking Springs Road in Midway injured four people, sending two of them to Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
The accident occurred about 9:50 p.m. Monday, April 28, when a 2004 Dodge pickup truck driven by Maria I. Fernandez, 47, of Fort Worth, Texas, went out of control while northbound on Sinking Springs Road.
A report filed by Deputy Sheriff Robert Livingston said the truck went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Fernandez was injured in the collision but did not require transportation to a hospital.
Her passengers Noe Huerta, 53, and Maria C. Fernandez, 51, were transported by private vehicle to Laughlin Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries, according to the report. Another passenger, Jose Valenzuela, 57, also was injured, but did not require transportation to a hospital.
