Ted Hensley and Jamie Skeen, two local Realtors, have announced they have ended their five-year partnership in the real estate business.

Hensley and Skeen formed Century 21 Home Team and took over the existing Century 21 franchise in Greeneville in September 2003.

A second office was opened along the Asheville Highway in April 2005 and a third office opened in Jonesborough in September 2006.

A joint press release said, "Jamie Skeen will continue to operate in Greeneville under the new name, Century 21 Legacy, from the Andrew Johnson Highway location.

"Ted Hensley will continue to operate the Jonesborough office under the name Century 21 Home Team.

"Each office will be owned and operated separately from one another while maintaining 'sister' office rapport."

The two former partners added, "The split is 'amicable,' and while each office will operate independently from one another, it is agreed that they will continue to work together, each allowing the use of their facilities to the other.

"We want the public to know that they can still receive the same professional service they have come to enjoy by employing the Century 21 system to assist with their buying and selling needs," according to Hensley.

He said, "Each office has agents who do business in both Greene and Washington counties, so there will not be a break in services, just in actual ownership and operations."

Skeen added, "We reached the point where we were having philosophical differences in how the company should be run, and came to the conclusion that this would be a better move for both of us."
