(Last modified: 2009-06-23 10:53:41) Source: The Greeneville Sun Two men who allegedly had stolen merchandise from the Greeneville Kmart over an eight-month period were charged by Greeneville police on Monday with theft over $500. Brian Allen Johnson, 24, of 499 Jackson Hollow Road, and Charles Allen McClellan, 23, of 65 Broom Factory Road, were charged after Kmart managers told police that the men allegedly had admitted to stealing merchandise from the store over an eight-month period. Arrest warrants filed by GPD Officer David Thacker said McClellan stole merchandise valued at $845 and Johnson stole merchandise value at $730. Bond for McClellan and Johnson were $1,000 each.
