Town's Parade

Will Start At

2 p.m. On Sunday

The annual "Mosheim Fun Days" celebration will be held Saturday with a day filled full of activities on the grounds of Mosheim Elementary School.

The annual Fun Days parade will be on Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m., on Mosheim's Main Street.

Saturday's events will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the day.

Featured activities will include: arts and crafts booths, musical entertainment, a car show, a beauty pagaent -- and even Mosheim's version of "American Idol," which is a talent show for adults and youth.

Opening ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. at the Main Stage at Mosheim Elementary School.

Also at 10 a.m., Big Bubba's Fun Run Open Car Show will begin at the Mosheim Track and the food and craft booths at the school will open.

At noon, the Mosheim Beauty Pageant will be held inside the school gym.

Here is a lineup of Saturday's Main Stage entertainers:

* 10:05 a.m. - One Purpose (gospel);

* 11 a.m. - Dancers Unlimited;

* Noon - Jim Tipton and the Rodeo;

* 1 p.m. - Stoney Creek Cloggers;

* 2 p.m. - B-2 Worship (contemporary Christian);

* 3 p.m. - Dandylines Dancers;

* 4 p.m. - The Gospel Proclaimers

* 5 p.m. - The Fabulous Fifties, and

* 6-8 p.m. - "Mosheim Idol" Talent Show.

In addition to these activities, the Medic Bloodmobile will be on hand at Mosheim School from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to collect blood donations.

Also, Takoma Regional Hospital will be giving out free bloodwork vouchers.
