(Last modified: 2009-06-01 08:40:03) Source: The Greeneville Sun An Afton man was injured about 6:50 p.m. Sunday when the motorcycle he was riding struck the rear of a pickup truck on the Tusculum Bypass at its intersection with Edens Road. Steven Mexin, 48, of Clover Lane, was taken to Laughlin Memorial Hospital by a Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services ambulance, according to a report filed by Deputy Sheriff Randy Christy. Mexin, according to the accident report, was injured when his 2001 Ducati motorcycle struck the back of a 2007 GMC pickup truck driven by Steven Campbell, 56, of Wheeler Road, Bulls Gap, after Campbell had to slow suddenly for a vehicle ahead of his.
