Linda Jones, a paralegal with the Milligan & Coleman law firm, has successfully completed the two-day Certified Paralegal examination, the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc., has announced.

As a result, the association said, Jones is now entitled to use the "Certified Paralegal (CP)" credential.

She is among 293 Tennessee paralegals and 15,378 paralegals nationwide who have attained certified paralegal status, according to the news release.

Jones holds an associate of applied science degree in paralegal studies from Walters State Community College and a bachelor's degree in psychology from East Tennessee State University.

She is married to Greeneville Sun staff writer Bill Jones and is the daughter of the late Guy and Mary Harrell of northern Greene County.
