David A. Lawing, formerly of Mosheim, is one of 83 candidates who recently passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examinaton.

The Uniform CPA Examination is one of the country's most comprehensive exams, according to the Tennessee Society of CPA.

Upon passing the exam, the successful candidates were inducted as members of the Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA) and its Appalachian chapter.
