Jim Barnes, president of SubSouth, which operates dozens of Subway restaurants including one of the others in Greeneville, said the new Subway will be located in the shopping center that faces Summer Street two blocks from Main Street. Barnes said that, like other Subways, the new restaurant will be about 1,500 square feet and have up to 12 employees, depending on the volume of its business. An opening date has yet to be announced.
