A Washington County grand jury has indicted Gabriel Lee Hoyle, 25, of Telford, and Brenda Bolton, 40, of Chuckey, on felony murder charges in connection with the July 4, 2008, shooting death of 21-year-old Keylando Webster, of Nashville, at Bolton's Erwin Highway residence.

Bolton originally had been charged with first-degree murder in connection with Webster's death, while Hoyle originally was charged with being an accessory to the murder.

Four other men: Jason Lynn Holt, 29, 153 Paul Mathes Road, Chuckey; Ronnie James Rogers, 37, 311 Cassi Road, Chuckey; Travis L. Graham, 31, 426 Cassi Road, Chuckey; and Keith Allen Mathes, 52, 222 Maple Swamp Road, Chuckey, also were originally charged by Washington County sheriff's deputies investigators with being accessories after the fact to first-degree murder.

But Washington County Sheriff's Lt. Doug Gregg told the Johnson City Press that an investigation led officers to pursue other leads in the case.

"We got new information leading us to believe that they were there to commit a robbery," he said. Webster was "killed in the commission of that robbery," Gregg told the Johnson City Press.

Webster had been found dead inside a mobile home rented by Bolton on the Erwin Highway near the Greene County line last July 4, officers said.
