The Baileyton Planning Commission will meet in called session at 7 p.m. Thursday at Baileyton Town Hall to consider site plans for construction of a new Dollar General store and a New Baileyton United Methodist Church building.

Baileyton Recorder Barbara Tilson said the called meeting will replace the regular May meeting of the planning commission, which was scheduled for Thursday, May 7.

She noted that Rick Holmes, of Kingsport-based GRC Construction Services is scheduled to present a site plan for the new Baileyton United Methodist Church building.

In addition, Tilson said, a representative of the Broadway Group is scheduled to present a site plan for a Dollar General store that is to be built on Van Hill Road near the Davy Crockett Travel Center.
