(Last modified: 2009-03-27 09:33:22) Source: The Greeneville Sun Man Faces Six Robbery Counts, Another Faces Charge Of Rape BY BILL JONES STAFF WRITER A man charged with six counts of aggravated robbery and another charged with rape were among 10 people arrested by sheriff's deputies on grand jury presentments (essentially secret indictments) on Thursday and early today. Copies of capiases (arrest documents similar to warrants) on file at the Greene County Sheriff's Department this morning indicated that presentments had been returned by a Greene County grand jury that met on Monday. Among those arrested Thursday and early today by sheriff's deputies was James Allen Ornouski, 45, of 66 Bainey Broyles Street. A capias said the grand jury had returned a presentment against Ornouski charging him with six counts of aggravated robbery, one count of attempted aggravated robbery and one count of burglary. An arrest report filed by Deputy Michael MacDonald said he arrested Ornouski at his residence. Bond for Ornouski was set at $100,000. He was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Greene County Criminal Court on May 8. RAPE CHARGED Also arrested Thursday by Sheriff's Sgt. Nick Milligan was Andrew L. Gray, 43, of 335 Obe Kirk Loop, Mohawk, who was charged with rape. An arrest report filed by Sgt. Milligan indicated that he arrested Gray at his residence on Thursday. Bond for Gray was set at $100,000. He was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Greene County Criminal Court on May 8. OTHERS ARRESTED Others arrested on Thursday or early today by sheriff's deputies were: * Kenneth R. Church, 48, of 596 Briar Patch Lane, against charged with failing a false report. Church was scheduled to appear for arraignment on March 31 in Greene County Criminal Court. * Cindy Lucille Lloyd, 40, of 55 Quail Ridge Lane, charged with attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. Bond for Lloyd, who was arrested by Deputy David Love, was set at $20,000 and she was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Greene County Criminal Court on May 8. * Ryan Daniel Humphreys, 23, of 4089 Blue Springs Parkway, charged with 13 counts of forgery. Bond for Humphreys, who was arrested by Deputy Robbie Morgan, was set at $20,000 and he was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Monday. * Donald Raymond Conn, Jr., 50, and Patricia Conn, 59, both of 1475 Judd Neal Loop, Afton, charged with manufacturing marijuana. Bond for both was set at $100,000 and both were scheduled to appear for arraignment in Greene County Criminal Court on May 5. * Jodie Ann Crum (AKA Lamb), 23, of 603 N. Hill Street, charged with theft under $500 and forgery. Bond for Crum, who was arrested by Lt. Wesley Holt, was set at $20,000 and she was scheduled to appear in Criminal Court on May 8. * Kimberly Michelle Setser (AKA Lane), 24, of 9225 Kingsport Highway, charged with six counts of forgery and one count of theft under $500. Bond for Setser, who was arrested by Lt. Wesley Holt, was set at $20,000 and she was scheduled to appear in Criminal Court on May 8. * Margaret Elizabeth Wilburn, 43, of 203 Ell Street, against charged with six counts of forgery. Bond for Wilburn, who was arrested by Lt. Wesley Holt, was set at $25,000 and she was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Criminal Court on March 31 and May 8. In addition, Amanda Ruth Phillips (AKA Campbell), 37, of 485 Chuckey Ruritan Road South, was arrested Thursday by Lt. Wesley Holt on a capias from Washington County that charged her with failing to appear in Washington County Criminal Court. Phillips was ordered held for Washington County authorities.
