(Last modified: 2008-07-19 00:15:05) Source: The Greeneville Sun A southern Greene County woman who was injured in a Friday morning two-vehicle collision on the 107 Cutoff a short distance from the Erwin Highway was listed in fair condition at the Johnson City Medical Center late Friday afternoon. Sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Davis said Falynn Tucker was hurt in a crash that took place about 7 a.m. Friday when a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup driven by William Collins, 31, of Hensley Lane, Limestone, apparently crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck a 2001 Pontiac Montana van driven by Tucker of the 107 Cutoff. Tucker had been flown from a landing zone near the accident scene to the Johnson City Medical Center by a Wings Air Rescue helicopter. Collins had been taken by private vehicle to Laughlin Memorial Hospital. A hospital spokesman said Collins was treated an released. Copyright © 2009, The Greeneville Sun |
