(Last modified: 2008-05-08 11:57:33) Source: The Greeneville Sun The Greeneville Middle School boys' golf team is headed for the state tournament next week near Murfreesboro after placing in a tie for third at the regional middle school meet in Kingsport. The Greene Devils shot a 343 to tie Kingsport for third place and earn a spot in the state event. Indian Trail Middle School won the regional with a 333 score and Colonial Heights was second at 342 in the tightly contested regional. Greeneville's top scorer was James Montgomery with a 78, while Tyler Justis came in with an 80. Jaheen Hira and Elliott Taliaferro each shot a 93 and Connor Landers fired a 95.
